Achatina zanzibarica's posing for magazine
Since snails are given so little attention in aquarium and terrarium clubs, it seemed the right time to write an article myself. Since achatina zanzibaricas have only been present in Europe for a few years, this was an opportunity to pay more attention to these animals. Writing an article is one thing, but taking good photos for the article is another. Seven 'models' were chosen and placed in a well-lit and space. After that it was up to them. Of course, everything went at a snail's pace until one decided to risk it and start crawling over her colleagues. This resulted in beautiful photos and the article has now appeared in the Terra magazine and in the club magazine of aquarium club Gracilis.
